I have a flash navigation menu at the top of each webpage. Each time a link is clicked to go to another page the movie reloads and the intro animation repeats. I do not want this animation to happen after the first time it has occurred. Each page should leave the flash file in its current state except for the new button animation on the new page.
So another words, i want to stop the flash navigation menu from reloading each time the webpage navigates to a new page or is refreshed. It should continue from its current looping animation state.
The answer I believe, is to use a local shared objects to tell the flash clip not to reload if it has already played. Your task is to do this since i am unable to do it.
May require some html as well, you will know best.
If you know a better easier way other than a local shared object in flash, feel free to do it. I have concerns about SEO and this is why i want to eliminate my current iframes setup and use a flash based one. Avoid any solutions that will have an impact on search engine optimization.
