This project is to make some fixes and upgrades to the "Mail Magic" HTML e-mail creation system, which you can read more about here: [url removed, login to view] This system is a WYSIWYG editor for creating high-quality HTML-based emails. It requires a web server running PHP 5. In the .zip attached to this bid request, you will find 3 .jpg files that clearly illustrate the issues that I want to have repaired. (I wrote the requirements directly on the .jpg screens) It's very important that the HTML emails generated by Mail Magic correctly render in GMail, Hotmail, AOL Webmail, Yahoo Mail, Microsoft Outlook, and Mozilla Thunderbird. It should look good (but not necessarily perfect) in MS Outlook Web Access email client, too. I do not have email accounts for these systems for you to use, but you should be able to sign up for them for free yourself. Please do not REMOVE any features from Mail Magic. I wish to keep the existing feature set, but while making the improvements shown in my screen mockups. 1) [url removed, login to view]: It's very important that the "line-height" attribute works in all HTML email clients, especially Yahoo Mail. According to this table, Yahoo does support this, but I cannot seem to get it working: [url removed, login to view] 2) [url removed, login to view]: Clean up the HTML output from "Letter Preview" shown here. 3) [url removed, login to view]: Clean up the HTML output from "Letter Preview" shown here, and try to move font properties out of CSS an into more traditional "font" tags. This will ensure greater compatibility with older email clients.
