Upgrade a Pligg based site to latest version

I have an existing website based on an older version of Pligg. The site needs to be upgraded to the latest version of Pligg.

I want all the modules, customizations and the existing template to be fully functional after the upgrade.

Any open security bugs or vulnerabilities in the current version should also be fixed/patched.
