The project is to provide technical support for a web based medical billing application with approximately 150 users. The main focus of this position will be to answer support tickets via email from end-users having problems with the system but, will also require the ability to troubleshoot code and make recommendations on how to remedy bugs or lack of functionality. The AST III will answer a minimum of 3 support tickets per day Monday thru Friday for one month beginning October 1st and ending October 31st. Bonuses will be awarded for answering more then 80 tickets in a month in the amount of $50 dollars. Sub-projects may be awarded to help enhance or fix application. The project is funded for one year renewable month to month. The coder should become familiar with all aspects of the application from an end-user’s and administrator’s perspective; have the ability to read and write in English; and have excellent customer service skills. Administrative and end-user documentation will be provided. Coder should be familiar with business website [login to view URL] as well as application. Coder must be of the highest integrity and sign a non-discloser and privacy agreement. Prefer allies of the United States and/or coders who have successfully worked on projects for U.S. customers with protected health information. Enclosed is the end-user documentation, the administrative document will be following.
## Deliverables
1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.
2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables):
a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment.
b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.
3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement).
