We have an EC2 Amazon Linux server with AWS. About a week ago we did a software update, and since then several things have been breaking. They seem to be mostly related to packages that use cURL. Our Facebook PHP login is no longer working, throwing a CurlException error 77 when it does the oauth request. This code has the message "error setting certificate verify locations". We had some other cURL issues pop up with the AWS S3 PHP SDK, but those were solved by adding an extra parameter to the S3Client object. Our Mandrill emails also stopped going out. The Mandrill emails aren't part of this project unless the fix for the Facebook login also fixes them, but I bring them up to describe further possible symptoms of the issue. We need someone who can either help us find a way to work around the new software configuration or who can help us change the software settings to be compatible with our current SDKs.
