We have a dedicated linux server that sends emails to go out on 5 windows servers smtp (we want to use the smtp strictly for sending the emails). Our goal is to be able to send 5 million emails per day(currently we only need to send up to 500,000 per day but that will change fast). These emails are sent from an admin (this page times out when we send any large email list, so this needs to be fixed as well). Here is what is set up now.......We replaced all calls to mail(), with calls to this custom emailer class: [url removed, login to view] The reason for doing this was to specify an SMTP server when mailing.. which is being read from [url removed, login to view] (in "/public_html") If you have a better solution or can resolve the current issues please bid............ Our timeframe is rather quick since we have been up against the same issue for over a week now with no resolution to the problem. We are getting bounce backs and test emails that are not sent.........
