Your job, should you be chosen, is to enhance the files available for a popular php download script, identified in the attachment. (zippped text file) Create new field for uploader to enter a name (such as their name); strip spaces and bring this entry to lowercase, and create a directory. (subfolder) In addition, strip out illegal characters so that this will work in a unix filesystem. For example if customer enters Steve Jones, create a directory with name stevejones For example if customer enters Steve/ Jones, create a directory with name stevejones, stripping out the "/". Put the uploaded files in this folder. Add a text entry box for user to add comments When the files have completed upload, run a tar and compress script, name the file the same as the directory that was created. When an upload occurs, we want to be notified by email, and the uploaded files included as a compressed attachment. Add a variable for us to define an email to receive the sent mail, another variable for a bcc of the email. Attach the compressed tar file to the email. Include any comments that were entered in the body of the email, preceeded by " (directory name wrote the following in the comments)". Send the email. Remove the compressed tar file that was just created, from the directory. Leave the original uploaded files there. Develop this on your server. Development access to our server is not part of the scope. Installation on our server is not part of the scope.
