I would like you to develop a Friendster-like site with some modifications. Actually, the site I want is more like [url removed, login to view], but everyone already knows the concept behind Friendster.
You *must* understand all of the features of [url removed, login to view] before you bid. The only features I don't want are the Forums and Marketplace.

The site should be module-based (like the blog script Drupal at [url removed, login to view]) so that I can easily add functions or temporarily suspend them. Also, there needs to be a group permissions function much like Drupal.
As well as what you see on [url removed, login to view] it should have a double-blind message system, advanced search, internal site email module (between members, and from/to admin), ability for members to block certain users as well as any user's friends, ability to delete people from their extended matrix, Who Is Online (within their group), add users to favorites, extended personal profile section (not showing those sections of the profile for which a user has input nothing) and allowing a user to create their own text fields and ascribe titles and description to those fields, and must be able to send emails from the site (when a user registers) as well as the "copy & paste" language on the Invite Friends page on Ringo.com.
The site must be scalable. I would need to easily add other modules in the future.
All options must be configurable in the administrative control panel. Also, the admin CP should have an advanced member account management section. Users should be able to be configured within groups with a set of permissions from which to choose.
The site must allow for PayPal as well as other membership-payment options. This will not be developed at this time, but the site must be developed to allow for these various payment options.
Simple, user-friendly interface. Clean, bright design. The clean design and layout should be very similar to Ringo.
Bidders need to have a viewable portfolio. Links to completed projects (with work the bidder has done on the project described) also preferred.
Special consideration will be made to those with excellent portfolios/references.
1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.
2) Installation package that will install the software (in ready-to-run condition) on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.
3) Complete ownership, copyrights, and distribution copyrights to all work purchased. Elements developed for this project must not be reused by the programmer on any other project.
4) All works must be original, without copyright or patent infringement.
