GIS / GOOGLE Earth application

GIS and Google Earth experience required.

Address match in Google Earth and produce output maps and Excel book with attributes from other raster and vector GIS datasets.

Client open to other solutions than this Method.

## Deliverables

Could use IMS / Goggle Earth / Desktop GIS (Arc Reader) or combination thereof. This is the formal description.

GIS and Google Earth experience required.

Client open to other solutions than this Method.

Client can load following layers into Intermap Mapping Site (IMS) so coder can pass information to this site if required. Application could also utilize the files below on the client PC as opposed to the web

Client has following layers (raster in .tif/geotiff formant and vector in shapefile format) for southern Mississippi study area

1 LIDAR DEM raster

1 Bathymetric model raster

22 * Wind Direction rasters

22 * Wind Strength rasters

22 * Strom Surge Contours rasters

22 * Ocean Current Direction rasters

22 * Ocean Current Knots rasters

1 Elevation Contour Map shapefile

1 Peak Strom Surge Map shapefile

CODER will

1) Provide a GUI that allows client to enter addresses from a text file into Goggle Earth. Google Earth will provide a latitude / longitude coordinate from the address match function (Geocode) and a value from each of the rasters listed above. They are all georeferenced to WGS 1984. The output will be an excel sheet with the addresses/coordinates in one column and each of the above raster layers in subsequent commons. For example

2) Goggle Earth will produce three "Google" aerial photos/maps of the address matched site at different scales. Ideally, there would bean easy way to adjust the scale of any desired map, but for starters, the scales are equivalent to "eye altitudes" (in Google) of a) ~150 miles, b) ~10 miles, and c) ~2000 ft as well as the address and lat long in the title.

3) An elevation contour map using each of the scales listed in (2) above with the contours from the shapefile listed above as well as the address and lat long in the title. **Update - Any standard format (jpg map)**

4) An Peak surge contour map using each of the scales listed in (2) above with the contours from the shapefile listed above as well as the address and lat long in the title. **Update - Any standard format (jpg map)**

5) The NOAA post storm aerial photo covering the site. The complete

data set is available at:

**I will load layers into an IMS as they are built over the next 10 days so you can view them. So far we only have bathy built.

IMS updated to WGS 1984 to match Google Earth

IMS now has ~ 24 layers loaded, another 22 will be added by 7/28.

1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.

2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables):

a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment.

b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.

3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement).

Must work in Windows XP and Internet Explorer 6 or later.
