I plan on starting a dialup ISP. I have contracts already for wholesale dialup access. Now all I need is a software system to keep track of users, bill users, auth users, provide them with email services, and web hosting.
I plan on renting a dedicated server with either Linux or FreeBSD installed. Then I will want the following installed on it:
-Freeside ([url removed, login to view]) for keeping track of users. This is the main accounting system. I will want my [url removed, login to view] merchant account setup with this. -FreeRadius([url removed, login to view]) for radius auth of users. Must be able to setup radius to work with proxy radius that my wholesale dialup provider will provide. Must configure it to plug in with Freeside (Freeside has this feature built in) -Request Tracker ([url removed, login to view]) for a trouble ticket system to keep track of user?s trouble tickets - installation and configuration of a complete mail server solution, including SMTP([url removed, login to view]), POP/IMAP with SSL support ([url removed, login to view]), webmail([url removed, login to view]), virus filtering([url removed, login to view]), user-configurable spam filtering([url removed, login to view]), virtual domain capability, and Freeside integration -a portal system of some sort with local access number look scrip (will be provided) along with the si gnup script that comes with Freeside.
Everything should integrate together, and it is easily possible according to Freeside's site.
I am looking for someone preferably with experience with radius and ISP operations. Please contact me if you are able to do what I have requested.
Also, please recommend anything else that you think I need or would use instead of one of the programs listed above.
If you are able to program a custom coded program that does all of this, I would be intrested as well. It must be 100% web.
Thank you, Kyle Leissner
