I need a PHP script that will allow me to limit the number of orders for one of my products to a specific number. For example... I display on a page... "This offer is limited to the next 20 orders only". When the first person orders they will be taken to a page on my site that with a piece of code that counts that order. This would be the order confirmation page or similar. The sales page would now say... "This offer is limited to the next 19 people only". When five more people order that could then say... "This offer is limited to the next 14 people only. Six people have already ordered and I don't think you have much time left". I'd like to be able to control how the countdown text is displayed for each number left. This could be done by giving me control over every line displayed. For example if I tell the script that the quantity is 20 I should be able to edit 20 lines. The default however should be... "This offer is limited to the next $count orders only". The page that 'counts' (the order confirmation page) should only count one person one time so that if someone reloads the page they won't be counted twice. Maybe done with a cookie or IP address. I'll take care of the order page. I'm just looking for the code that will call the script that I need to place on the order confirmation page. Once the order limit is reached two things should happen and all 20 or whatever number of sales is reached the script should do two things. The page now says "This Special Offer Has Ended". Click Here. That should be the only text on the page. The page then redirects to a url that I specify. the delay should be editable by me. The page should redirect to the same place the Click Here above points to. Once the script has counted all of the inventory as sold redirecting the page allows me enforce the quantity deadline set in the script. If you have any suggestions let me know. Thanks in advance. Anthony
