This project involves hooking up our new merchant account to our main website. We're selling cigarettes online, and have about 300 different brands on our website. We'll also have one or two smaller satellite sites that'll need to be plugged in to our merchant account as well, either independently or somehow talking to our main website on the backend. The gateway we are using is Authorize.net.
Our site(s) are all simple HTML sites and are sitting on Unix boxes. We've used PHP before pretty extensively, and have been pretty happy with it. [url removed, login to view] has all the necessary scripts and tools to get everything going, apparently. We just need it all plugged in so we can begin billing.
*All merchant account information and data needs to be 100% transparent to the end user.* When a card is charged, we'll also need some type of filing system for the AVS merchant account responses to be stored in.
That should be about it. Email me with any questions. We're looking for someone who'll be able to do more work with us in the future - the next thing on the list is plugging an affiliate program into the site.
1) Complete fully-functional implementation of working merchant account on our site(s) as well as complete source code of all work done.
2) Installation package that will install the software (in ready-to-run condition) on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.
3) Exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site).
This will all be done on a Unix system. As far as end users go, all 4.0+ Netscape and IE users should be able to use this billing mechanism.
