Hello, We need some middleware, database synchronizations done… I’ve attached a diagram as to what we are trying to accomplish, but let just sum it up… 1. We are currently using QuickBooks for our Accounting. 2. We currently use a program to handle our Inventory called QuickStock by Datatoolz. This program is based on a Microsoft Access Database. 3. For our Customer Relationships Management software, we use a program called CentraView by [login to view URL] this software is open source and is based on a mySQL database. 4. A php based shopping cart with a mySQL database. What we are trying to do, is link all of the customer information found in QuickBooks and all the inventory information found in the MS ACCESS database of quickstock to a central mySQL database on our webserver. This database would then be synchronized with the mySQL database of the CENTRA VIEW software app as well as the mySQL of our shopping cart system. All of these mySQL databases would be on the same server. To pull data out of QuickBooks, and the ACCESS database for quickstock, we’ll be using a program called “ACCESS REALTIME PLUS?? from [login to view URL] (you can download a trial and play with it) So, your job would be to configure this software program (acess realtime plus) to push the data to the MYSQL database on the internet… you’ll then have to configure the database to synchronize the data with the shopping cart mySQL database, and the centra view database. You may have questions… so post them up on the message board if you do… By the way, i am NOT an expert in this type of design, so if you know of a better way to do what I'm trying to do, then by all means suggest it.
