Hi, I've been having weird things go on with my newsletter mailer software (AutoReponse Plus) on my dedicated server. All today I have a ton of "mysqld" tasks running which was pushing my CPU load to 30,30,30 at times. After rebooting a few times it seemed to work, but it also seems like I lost some data. I need someone to look at my data and see if they can get it back. You need to be a LINUX and MySQL expert. My tech at the server company gave me this. It appears that MySQL is not configured correctly. >From /var/log/[url removed, login to view] Cannot initialize InnoDB as 'innodb_data_file_path' is not set. If you do not want to use transactional InnoDB tables, add a line skip-innodb to the [mysqld] section of init parameters in your [url removed, login to view] or my.ini. If you want to use InnoDB tables, add to the [mysqld] section, for example, innodb_data_file_path = ibdata1:10M:autoextend But to get good performance you should adjust for your hardware the InnoDB startup options listed in section 2 at [url removed, login to view] I mainly want my data back so I can migrate to a different box. But... if you can speed this thing up AND get my data back that would be awesome! EXPERTS ONLY... NO HACKS!!!!!
