1 - I have setup Cpanel/WHM but Im having trouble with the server "Hostname" and sending emails. I believe this is due to DNS not being setup correctly. It asked for my hostname as follows [url removed, login to view] but I get a nightly email stating "The hostname ([url removed, login to view]) resolves to . It should resolve to 184.108.40.206. Please be sure to correct /etc/hosts as well as the 'A' entry in zone file for the domain." I've already added an "A" entry for it in WHM. I believe because of this same problem I cannot send mail via outlook on this domain. I can only receive. Even when I try to use the webmail to send it gives me an error about DNS. So I will need someone to sort this out for me. The joomla website itself does work flawlessly. 2 - After I moved my site to this new host Joomla is having many file permission problems. Apache User and files owner are not the same so Im getting many errors with Joomla since the move. I will need someone to sort this out, figure out a way so all joomla functions work correct, perhaps by making files owned and apache user the same. I dont want to give 777 permission to all folders that joomla needs access to as this is a security risk but its been the only way to get around the issues.
