i have a problem in figuring out how the bootloader got stuck in garbage code in one of the boot loader stage.
i'll give more details to interested/skilled bidder.

the bootloader loads from a harddrive (usual x86 pc). it has a "lock to specific harddrive" mechanism. i have tried to debug them, but my knowledge in linux boot did not enough. the final goal is to remove that mechanism. i attached the first 13MB content of the harddrive here (after replace some string with 'x'), so you can take a look and see if you can handle it or not. as a note, the mechanism might be in another place (not in boot image). well, just take a look at that content first, you'll see why i suspect that the mechanism is located in boot.
