I am looking for a way to save a document created using the OpenOffice Writer application included in [url removed, login to view] 2.2 (running under Ubuntu 7.04) in the equivalent of Microsoft Word's "MS-DOS text with Line Breaks" file format. That file format inserts hard returns at the end of each line of text. I use it in in conjunction with a fixed-spaced font to restrict the number of characters on each line.
I thought I'd found the public domain solution at <[url removed, login to view]> but Mr. Kryukov, the author of the OfficeFMT package, has confirmed that his filter is not compatable with [url removed, login to view] 2.2.
Copies of the desired input and output files are attached.

b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.
3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased.
