I would like a new section added to my web site. I don't really want anything done on the rest of the site right now. This new section would be for customers to see what classes we have available and when they are going to be given. It would also allow them to register for a class. It should be database driven using MySQL. All coding should be done in PHP. I would like it to display a calendar that looks something like this: [url removed, login to view] What I want is a site that keeps track of who is registered for the class. I also want it to notify the user if the class is full and not allow them to register. It would be really nice if it offered the next closest available date for that class. They can see the class name on the calendar. Then they click the link and it takes them to the course description. From that page, they can register for the class. It would also be nice if on the course description page, it had a listing of all the available dates (not full or canceled classes) for the next month or two. In addition to the calendar view, I would like a simple listing of classes that a customer can choose from. Classes will have prerequisites. These will not be mandatory. I don't think I want to keep track of what classes someone has taken. Just a warning message with a link to the course description of the required class(es). There is an open source project that has a framework that you might be able to use: [url removed, login to view]~kmerr001/seminar/[url removed, login to view] Although this is totally wrong for the student viewpoint, it would be great to use as the admin page (for updating the calendar). Speaking of the admin pages. I would need a page that I could print out that would have all the user information (nicely organized) for everyone that has registered for a particular class on a said date. It may also be useful to note that there will be times when more than one class will be offered on a said date. I would really like it if the work that we do, could be done in a general enough way that we could give the code to the SeminarSite guys to further their project (or we could create our own open source project). This needs to be integrated into my existing site at www.dcsnow.com.
