Basically, [url removed, login to view]; except it's used for timeshare exchanging. I've done a little coding... on my own. but it's just too big of a job for a beginner.
Use SSL, PHP, MySQL. I'm big on open source. No M$ need apply. Deadline is VERY flexible, as time isn't all that important to me. I like the general appearance of the site as it is. Small changes for functionality are aceptable. Basic functions: A visitor can search my database of timeshares for something in the area they'd like to exchange to. it lists them. (type in bahamas, fl, usa, mexico, cancun, orlando, canada, or camloops into the currently existing dummy search engine on [url removed, login to view]; my site so far) People who have paid their annual membership can contact other timeshare owners to initiate an exchange. People who have not, can jsut look. (like a dating site). There will be a private messaging forum that will be logged permanently. Online Transaction of CCs. As much authentication as possible. An ebay style "feedback" function. Acquisition of much personal information. I'm guessing development should take place on a small, underpowered machine, with a public IP for me to see it as it goes. Even a P166 will suit. I can supply it. It will allow me to see if you can install and configure the OS and the acompanying programs needed (apache, PHP, MySQL, etc) and be able to function as more than just a person that writes some HTML...
1) Complete and fully-functional working web site as well as documentation of all code/work done.
3) Complete ownership and copyrights to all work purchased.
Probably on a Linux box.
