Magento - Move Products, Attributes, & Images from old site to new site

Hello everyone!

Going to try and explain this as best as I can, so please, before you bid and post your long resume, read through the brief!

We just had a new theme/site developed for our automotive parts website, The developer created the new theme, customized everything, and moved everything into the development site (databases etc). The theme was completed on the site, and the development site was made live (what you'll see live now at [url removed, login to view]), and the original site for [url removed, login to view], is now at

Now, while the site was being worked on, we did some product edits (price updates, attribute updates, etc). We realized once we made the development site the live one, that the products we made on the old site did not carry over to the now live site, due to those changes never being transferred over to the development site when it was being worked on. Now we are see that a lot of products that we previously edited, are not edited on the now live In addition, we noticed that when we try to make an edit or change to the product, that it is not saving or reflecting on the front end of the site, let alone show up correctly in the search block.

What we would like to do is have the products exported from our [url removed, login to view] website, and imported into our now live [url removed, login to view] site. With this, we need to make absolutely sure that the images, attributes, pricing etc (EVERYTHING PRODUCT RELATED) gets moved over. Once this is done, we need to just make sure we can properly edit the products on the now live [url removed, login to view] site, and that the changes we make (price, title, description changes etc) save properly and are reflected on the frontend of the site. Finally, we need to make sure that the products are showing up properly in the search bar of the site as well. Not sure if the database is corrupt or what the issue is, but we need this fixed asap.

We need work to start immediately. Not tonight, not tomorrow, not in a few hours...NOW. PLEASE provide some kind of idea of what you think the issue may be etc. As we need to be confident that we choose the right freelancer. Please do not waste our time if you can not complete this task.

From what I believe, if you export the products from the old site and try to import to the new, it will overwrite the current products and not import the images. I could be wrong about this.
