Classifieds Website Updates : PHP / MySQL

We need to make some changes to our existing classifieds website. We are using the 68classifieds software, which is an off-the-shelf classifieds website system. Add a new field under Dealership Name (If applicable): Logo (If applicable): This logo image should appear above Seller: on this page [ see [login to view URL]] The logo can be any width, but only 50px in height. Use the same image upload rules as you find on Step 4 – Add Images on the *Listing process. [see image [login to view URL]] Task 2. Add another dropdown called Choose Package (Dealers Only): There will be two options 20 ads for $47/mth 250 ads for $99/mth These are the discount groups 20 Ads for $47 per mth and 250 ads for $97 per mth in the backend. NOTE: - The discount groups are already set up in the backend. - To see discount groups in the backend login -> Payment -> Coupons & Discounts -> Choose Package [see image [login to view URL]] - Both of these discount groups show 100% discount. This is because, for the moment, these dealers will be invoiced manually by admin staff. - You will see that the discount has an expiry date. Don’t worry about expiry dates. Those will be managed manually. - When the user selects their package, add their user group to the correct discount group. - The full price for an ad is $17. If you are not a dealer, you pay $17 per ad. Tasks 3. Add another text box called Dealer Group (Dealers Only): - As the person types the Dealer Group, use autocomplete to compare what they are typing to the database. - Don’t show these user groups: Administrators, Registered Users, Users Awaiting Email Confirmation, Banned Users, Guests in search and autocomplete. - Underneath User Group (Dealers Only): Put Search for existing Dealer Group. This brings up a popup search box where they can search for user group. - NOTE: Dealer Group is User Group in the system. - If the user group does not exist, create a new user group in the system and add the user to it. - If the registering user is not a dealer then they are a retail user, the user registration stays as is. When a user (dealer) registers what are the steps? How do users, user groups and the discount groups work together? 1. Create the user 2. Create the user group, if they do not choose an existing one. 3. Add the new user group to 20 Ads for $47 per mth or 250 ads for $97 per mth discount groups. If the group is already part of one of these two discount groups, then you do need to add it. Users are assigned to user groups which are then assigned to discount group, if required.
