Overall Updates Maps The current map integration uses GoogleMaps API this needs to be changed to [login to view URL] and Bing Maps. The map pins once changed to [login to view URL] need to have the same appearance as current and also load very fast. I’m open to suggestions here. Map should and search should function exactly the same as it currently does. Map should be setup and ready for another developer to add overlays using Leafleftlet, enabled on the front end map – a design concept will be provided for you. Links are currently formatted as: /listings/?area-2=2996 for searches, I’d like these links to be formatted as friendly permalinks like /listings/area/far-north-queensland Home Page • Get the search form working o “Where do you want to fish” is autocompleted from tags in the database. If no tag found a user can Search all. Single Page • If fishing spot or tackle store taxonomy Get closest boat ramp and distance from spot in KM • If TackleStore or Boat Ramp get closest fishing spot and distance from spot in KM • If Boat ramp or fishing spot get closest tackle store and distance from spot in KM • Map controls like on the /spot/ page • Display spots within 150km of main marker • Convert GPS markers into KML format and other formats for download MyFishingTrip When a user clicks “Add to myFishing Trip”, “I’ve Fished here before”, Likes or dislikes the spot a pop up appears asking user to sign, signup with facebook or register online. Most of the functionalty is already built into the system. The fishingtrip section will be part of the login / myaccount section and however it will display a list of spots a user has pressed “Add to myFishing Trip” the user can then download the list of spots as GPS marks as Title, Lat, Long. Submit Once users are logged in they can Submit a new spot for review. This functionality is pretty done, it needs tweak. However we have a strict tagging policy, Tags for a spot must be tagged as “Creek Name”, “Area” “Closest Town” and “State”, these tags are used for searching on the front end, so submit a spot users must fill out these 3 fields at are assigned as Tags to that spot. When user enters tag it should autocomplete or make suggestions while they type. The “Area” could be replicated for the Tag for “Area” mentioned above. Species needs to be a multi select field. The map on the Submit also needs uers to be able to just drop a pin anywhere on the map. Submit new spot layout will also be updated by myself. Once complete the website will need to be thoroughly audited, database queries minimized, code optimized and useless code removed.
