We're a small HVAC/R company and we need some automation for our Workorders and invoicing.
An existing Excel template (Workorder) is used now to be filled in with data found on our NAS Synology server.
In the additional info (Word file), I explained how we use this sheet now.
We already have tab pages for materials, addresses, machines, technician tab pages, clients,...
Technicians will have in your application a tablet/phone and connect to data on our Synology NAS server (Cloud)
Once completely filled in, the template needs to be saved, send to the client in pdf, in Excel to our NAS server and stored on the NAS in a database.
Technicians can start a job on their mobile phone with data found on the cloud. Client is warned via SMS when job starts and ends. At the end, client receives all the info on his email which was filled in on the worksheet.
We then can filter on all the data (eventually in a backoffice module) to invoice the Workorders automatically and retrieve everything we need on this specific filters.
Extended filtering features is needed.
6 small Word templates (reports) needs to be generated with the stored data.
Some hyperlinks to manuals, linked/associated to a machine and/or client needs to be made. A machine or client can have several manuals like photo's, programs, drawings which are stored on our NAS. Clients and technicians can access these manuals. Client can also access his worksheets and invoices via password on the NAS.
You can choose whatever programming language or method, (you don't have to stick to Excel or Access) as long as the requirements are met. You also don't have to follow on what we already have. I expect you to guide me a little bit because you're the programming professional. I also expect some professional input from your side as well.
If budget isn't enough, please inform.
Milestones will only be paid after I see some progress of the work.
I added and additional explanation which was made in the past. Another freelancer started already with it but due to familiar reasons, he had to stop. What is in that file is some of the conversations we had.
Fulfilling given promises to me is very important. A regular update of the progress (preferable every day) is also wanted.
I'm looking for someone not doing this job after his daily job. It will otherwise takes too long to accomplish this task.
