Fix paypal integration problem at PHP site

Hi

I have a design contest website and our paypal integration has somehow broken down. Maybe they stopped supporting the way we have integrated it (it's a 4 year old site) or something, anyway i will need someone to fix asap.

The site is coded in php with smarty php and mysql database.

Problem in detail:

In the past our system has registered a payment when a user clicked a button that said "Go back to [sitename]" on the last paypal page when the transaction was completed. However paypal has changed something so now it's just a link that says "Go back to [sitename]" and when users click that they are send back to our site, but it does not register the payment. Maybe you will need to recreate this part so it uses som api feature from paypal (i don't know much about paypal integration)
