I search A LOT on ebay (.com / .[url removed, login to view] / .de etc) and I want a version with less clutter and one that loads faster.
Tell me how you'd approach the problem. I guess you could write a Greasemonkey script to do this or use the eBay API. I don't need a desktop app. If you'd use the API this could be web based. I hope you understand what I mean here.
Here's what I need to be able to do:
- Search (Choose between ebay .com / .[url removed, login to view] / .de etc
- Drill down the categories
- Select "completed listings" or not
- Sort (by time etc)
- When I click on the listing I also want a very much simplified view of the auction page. Just the basic info like seller name / feedback score, auction# / price / ending / auction description / that's it.
Let me know in youd bid / message HOW you'd approach this. if you don't put that in your bid / message, I will ignore it.
I just read that ebay charges a shitload of money to use their API so that's not reall an option. Please suggest something. Scraping? But that's probbaly too slow, right?
