I have a system / script installed which has two bugs.
The bug relates to the affiliate commission not being credited to the affiliate for the sale being made.
So the sale is made, the affiliate is credited with the sale, the affiliate is emailed to notify them of the sale, BUT - no commission is credited to the affiliate.
Finally - the system works on the basis of cookie tracking. If someone clicks an affiliate link, the system is meant to place a cookie on the users PC - which tracks unique clicks only.
The system has the ability to be set to TEST MODE to track all clicks (not just unique ones).
However, if the TEST MODE is switched OFF - the system does NOT place a cookie on the PC (and obviously no clicks are tracked)
If the TEST MODE is switched ON - the system DOES place a cookie on the PC - and tracks the click.
This is backwards / reversed - it should happen the other way round.
Summarise - 2 script fixes needed :-
1. Commission Fix
2. Cookie System Fix.
All other functions seem to work.
1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.
2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables):
a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment.
b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.
3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement).
