I have a little expereince programming in PERL, but I want to learn more advanced techniques especially related to programming CGI. I found a freeware script, ksearch, (available at [login to view URL]) that I would like to use as a "text" to study line by line to understand how to use PERL for cgi programming. I am looking for someone: 1) Who understands how the script works and why it works. 2) Can teach me the PERL programming concepts which are being used 3) Can go over the script line by line with me 4) Can answer my questions about the programming techniques used in the script. 5) Teach me about cross platform issues (NT/Unix) when programming in PERL I'm imagining we would use a combination of email, live chat, screen sharing (netmeeting, timbuktupro?), and if possible voiceoverIP. The Deliverables in this case would be a complete and fully-functional working PERL cgi program, that would be similar, but smaller in scope to the ksearch script, that I would create based on what I've learned.
## Deliverables
The Deliverables in this case would be a complete and fully-functional working CROSS-PLATFORM PERL cgi program, that would be similar, but smaller in scope to the ksearch script, that I would create based on what I've learned. Complete copyrights to all work purchased.
## Platform
UNIX/NT
## Deadline information
This teaching/tutoring would happen during the month of September 2002.
