Project involves modifying/hacking a Perl based shopping cart called Merchant Order Form (MOF). Will need to add a routine in the checking/billing area so that additional information from the visitor can be collected. This will consist of information to be pre-printed onto personal bank checks: Line 1 (Name) Line 2 (Street Address) Line 3 (City, State Zip) Optional Line 4 Optional Line 5 The person will have the option of providing this information if they wish, but it will not be required to complete the checkout process. If the person wishes to complete this information, then the first three lines will be required. So maybe having a checkbox where the person indicates that they wish to submit this information would trigger the required field flags (or some other method, I'm not picky about how this will work). Also, we would like a button to be inserted near the fields where a visitor can click and see a popup sample image of what the check will look like (with thier information inserted into it). The person will be required to click on a checkbox accepting full responsiblity for the information they are submitting, agreeing that no reimbursement will be made if they make an error and submit the wrong information. The site is up and running already. The web site is www.checksyourway.com. The above hack will need to show up on the billing page. You can try out the site and click your way to the billing page where the bill-to address, comments, etc are collected. This will be the page where the option to submit information to be printed on the checks will be inserted. If you want the source code to review before placing your bid, please send me a message and I will provide it to you.
