MoveableType Tweak

I have a blog at [url removed, login to view] designed to provide articles on how to stop spam or reduce it.

I have installed the current version of MoveableType and the blog is functional.

I would like to add a plugin that allows users to vote on the usefulness of the article.

As a coder bidding on this small project, you should:

* Be a MT guru and have install it more than once and also installed MT plugins. If you haven't, please do not bid as I do not want you to learn how to shave on my face... :)

* Review this thread in the MT support forums:

* Review the plugin information here:

which includes information on the plugin "MTVote".

* Review my blog here: [url removed, login to view] and click on the second or third individual entry down, scroll down to the bottom and you'll see that I already have the MTVote plugin installed. I just need help tweaking it to do what I want.

## Deliverables

Complete, debugged, tested and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code files of all work done.

Essentially I want MTVote plugin to use the five-star system I have there but to average the votes and display the current average in points, i.e. 4.5 of 5 stars. The way MTVote is set up now all it displays is the last entered vote, which is useless to me and of little value to readers.

A problem I have seen with MTVote is that when I vote on an individual article, the success page doesn't have the look and feel of my blog nor does it give the user a way to go back to the post, so it would be nice to have a thank you page that registered the vote, meta-refreshed after 5 seconds and took them back to their post.

I also would like it to allow only for 1 vote per article per user-session, so some sort of cookie should be set that tells them they've already voted on that article if they try to sit there and vote ten times.

I also have yet to find a way for the article rating to appear on the main index or container of the blog. The rating only seems to appear at the bottom of the individual article template.

It would be nice to see the rating next to the article on the main index page, in the archives or wherever a link to it is listed. I think there is already a tag for this I just haven't found it.

Finally, it would be cool if there were some way to have a template that displayed links to the top-rated articles, perhaps on the main page left column, but that may be a later project if it is too much work to do. Or perhaps there is already a plugin that addresses this that I don't know of.

I have other plugin projects and tweaks I need help with, so will see how this person does and perhaps more small projects or large ones to follow. Thanks. I will award this project quickly as I am working on the blog this weekend and this is not an install but just a fix of an existing installed plugin.
