Passing Perl Variables to an ASP page

I have a Perl .pl that has a form box. I can modify the form box and add some perl language I believe, but not the original .pl code. This is a username and password box.

I need to pass the username to the next ASP page that loads. (not the password)

My host has dual asp/perl functions, but is run off an apache(unix) system.

Need to know how to do this. Need a sample of what needs to be on the perl side and what needs to be on the asp side. Need these sample scripts (or lines of code).
