Some of this was already completed by another programmer who we recently let go. ie. some of the html pages have been done. However, i am not sure how far the previous programmer got. There are a bunch of perl scripts in the directory, but you MUST be an experienced perl expert / postgres enthusiast to tack. I would like to do this, but I am under pressure to complete many other projects.
What I need for a web page is basically a Multi-conference reservation system.
This page is the standard enter ID and password to get to the rest of the site. Using the ID entered we then pull up any previous reservations from our database.
What I need for a web page is basically a Multi-conference
Note: I WIll send you a better formated version of this.
First page is the standard enter ID and password to get to the rest of the site. Using the ID entered we then pull up any previous reservations from our database.
Conference Name: a pull down list of previously
setup conferences. Allow the input of a new conference name.
RETRIEVE button: Used to tell server that a previous conference name has been selected and that conference data should be
Data & time: The date and time of the conference....this is filled in by the user for a new conference and is filled in by the server when a previous conference is retrieved.
DELETE button: Send the name of a previous conference that the user wants to delete from the list.
Address Book: This is the most complicated (I think) the address book is a simple list of user names retrieved from a file...or database. The user
needs to somehow select the members from the list that they want to participate in the conference. When the SUBMIT button is hit the web page needs to send all names selected to the server.
The server also needs to modify the selections when the retrieve button is hit. This will then show the members of the previous conference.
SUBMIT button: This takes all of the above fields and sends it to the server to register a conference.
I will spell out the address book functionality desired.
Assume that the user has input his ID and password, the MCU(multi-conference unit) web page comes up. The ID is used to open the users address book:
[ John Smith ]
[ Bill Taylor ]
[ Andy Wright ]
Now when building a new conference, the user would input a new Conference Name...select a date and time, and then select the members of the conference:
Conference Name[ Beer_night ] : John, Will, Joe When the user hits the submit button, the Conference Name, Date, Time and the two Address Book names selected will be sent over to the server.
Address Book: John - WIll - Mary
Again when the submit button is hit, the Conference name, date&time, and all selected members are sent to the server.
