Program to import Excel data

Need a perl script that can import data from our excel inventory making it searchable for visitors on our website.
The excel file has the following fields
part number,description,qty,price.
The file consist of 600 different part #'s.

the program has to run on yahoo server but if a component can be run from our windows xp station to convert the file willbe nice
