When a browser goes to a Web site to retrieve a page, it leaves a "fingerprint" in the log file of that Web site. Web site owners will look for the fingerprint of a certain browser or robot, and based upon the fingerprint, reject that browser or robot! The Harvester Application will be run in a Windows enviroment (NT,2000,XP). As far as the website database development, it just needs to be able to interact with the list created by the Harvester Application. This will be at the recomendation of the individual choosen to complete the job.
