I want to start an open source project by paying someone to create sync software for windows that syncs to amazon s3. Ideally, i want the core of the software to be something that can easily be ported to max and linux. Also ideally we can use existing code from several projects to save time. First, I would like to know if the source here can be used as it is a mature project already: [login to view URL] otherwise this has some basic sync fucntionality [login to view URL] There might be code that is usable from these existing projects: Rsync - [login to view URL] Toucan - [login to view URL](software) Unison - [login to view URL](file_synchronizer) open sync - [login to view URL] Conduit - [login to view URL] Requirements 1) simple install package, nothing complicated, one .exe for the user 2) windows vista compatible 3) must encrypt transfers to amazon s3 4) mostly no major bugs - recognizing new files, not deleteing everything accidentally etc
