I would like to add a simple voice chat to a virtual classroom project I have. Up to 12 people should be able to chat with each other by microphone. Preferably this will be an applet that I can include with the website (such as [url removed, login to view] but it has to be OS-independant), but an application solution may be acceptable. Also, a p2p solution would be preferable to one that has all the data go through a host computer. I don't require an exclusive copyright to the work, so if you have already programmed such a solution and would provide it for my (commercial) co-use, that's fine. Please send details on how you plan to realise this project, i. e. will you provide an applet or application, p2p or host+clients, which programming language will you use, what time frame do you need and so on. Bids lacking this information can't be considered.
1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.
2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition. If this is a website solution, provide an HTML file that will work as soon as applet and any additional files are uploaded to the server. You will not need to do the integration with the existing classroom. If this is a software for distribution, provide a software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition.

Unfortunately not all clients will have advanced access to their web server (other than FTP access). So I am really looking for an ad-hoc solution between the computers of the instructor and the students that still provides good voice quality. I was thinking a p2p solution would put less strain on the instructor's computer, resulting in improved voice quality.
