I have downloaded a WYSIWYG textarea replacement from Interactive Tools. But when I tried to implement it into my web application, It almost worked except that when a user enters new text (or makes formatting changes) with the interface, the new HTML markup IS NOT passed to my CGI application.
Attached to this request are two HMTL files.
One is directly from the HTML output of my web application (doesn't work). The other is a modified (working) version of the original sample that came after downloading the software from InteractiveTools.
What I'd like is for someone to compare the two files, and find out why the one doesn't work - then tell me exactly what the problem is so I can correct it in my application.
You'll know that the working version works by entering or formatting text in the WYSIWYG area, then clicking "Submit". The data is passed to a CGI application which re-displays the data it was passed.
1. On the HTML file that doesn't work, there are extra form items - I'm not concerned about these.
1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.
2) Installation package that will install the software (in ready-to-run condition) on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.
3) Exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site).
