We have a list of markets, submarkets, and zip codes.
A market is made up of submarkets, and submarkets are made up of zip codes.
We recently hired a company that used an application like ESRI ArcEditor to convert the data into polygons and then inserted the data into a database in JSON format. Attached is a text file that shows the output of this process.
We do not have access to the software and are unsure what software we need or the process we need to go through to recreate this output, and are seeking someone experienced in this area to assist us.
Selected coder will have access to the data we need converted, and we can also work over phone/skype/webconference to show you the inputs and outputs so you can understand the process.
In your bid, please include as much detail as possible to show you are the right person for this exercise.
We believe the end result should be 3 tables / importable text files: 1.) A Market Table that includes the boundaries of the market, as well as the boundaries of each Sub Market in that Market. 2.) A Sub-Market Table that includes the boundaries of the sub-market, as well as the boundaries of each Zip Code in that Sub Market 3.) A Zip Code table that includes the boundaries of each zip code. The attachment includes: A description of each table structure. An example of the JSON data.
Deliverable will include an initial conversion of data into the format we need, as well as a document describing in detail the process required to perform this conversion.
We'll also see a recommendation on whether to license the software necessary to perform this conversion, or use a 3rd party to convert this data as needed.
