First off, I am running Windows 7.? I have two? Excel tables.? One is a table of closing stock prices(for a particular company's stock), entered daily.? Each row in the table is a different date (mon - fri), arranged chronologically with the most resent date at the bottom (ie. todays entry would be at the very bottom of the list).? I manually type these closing prices into the excel file every day.
The second Excel file is a table of options prices of this same stock.? For each day of the week, on a new row, I enter the Ask and Bid prices for each of the options I am looking at.? There are about 10 options total, of different expiration dates and different strike prices.? I also manually enter these numbers into the Excel table.
I need a program that will do this for? me automatically.? It needs to copy the numbers from [url removed, login to view] . com (historical prices and options pages) and insert them into the excel files for the appropriate date.? The program also needs to return down a row for each day's prices.? It also needs to do this in the evening, after the market has been closed for several hours.
I have about 25 other excel files like this for other stocks.? I plan to alter this program myself to use on the other files.? So the program will? need to be flexible (ie. change the webpages it reads from and the excel file it will copy to).? Also, it needs to be in 'beginners' language.? Java, html, or excel is best; visualbasic maybe.? Whatever program does it the simplest and easiest to alter.
>> I have screen shots of the webpages and tables, with the numbers i need moved highlighted.? I will email all this once i find a coder.
>>If you are the guy from Sofia i talked with a few weeks ago about this, i am still interested in your bid.
