This project is simple. ? RECREATE using whatever method you want (Flash?), OR make an HTML version of the "scoreboard summary bar" from NBA.com. ? See the attachment below for a photo of what the "scoreboard summary bar" is.
This is what my webpage looks like:
[url removed, login to view]
Your scoreboard summary bar will replace the one on that page. ? If I accept your bid, I will send you the PHP file that dynamically generates this page (it updates each day to reflect the scores of recently played games).
Basically, I want: 1) Team name/abbreviation 2) Game score (with winner highlighted in color, use blue for now, but I want to be able to change it later) 3) Link to the matching game's box score on MY page
I want you to recreate the [url removed, login to view]'s "scoreboard summary bar" in terms of FUNCTIONALITY. Your work might look similar in FUNCTION to the "scoreboard summary bar" near the top of this ESPN page:? <[url removed, login to view]>. ? See attached pictures in the zipped file for close-up photo of [url removed, login to view]'s and [url removed, login to view]'s "scoreboard summary bar".
Basically, for each game I want the:
1) TEAM NAMES
2) SCORES (with the winner highlighted in color (blue?) and
3) a LINK to the box scores on MY page.
4) Your "scoreboard summary bar" should UPDATE ITSELF to include the game scores information of the date that is SELECTED. ? The default date of my page will always either be YESTERDAY or TODAY (basically, the most recent games).
But if users select a date from the calendar in the upper right corner of my page, the information in the scoreboard summary bar should UPDATE itself and reflect this. You can scrape the game score data from Yahoo, as I've done, or you can derive it from my own page. However, choose the fastest method as I do NOT want your work making my webpage load any slower.
