We require a web designer with extensive Joomla experience to work with us in customizing a travel services website template. (This is our first attempt at working with Joomla)
The site will be based around a pre-purchased template.
You will be required to ensure the template has been installed correctly and adjust where necessary, re-arrange modules and layouts to suit the new site design, and then work with us thru the fine tuning process.
Some of the extensions we plan on using are
-Simple Image gallery--front page rotation
-Joomfish or Gtranslate for multi language capability
-RS Forms pro
-JCE or similar WSIWIG editor
-sh404SEF pr JoomSEF for SEO -google analytics etc
-xmap for site map etc
You will be building template pages which we will then populate with articles. The page types will include an index page, article page, news manager page, contact page, and information pages,
The index page build involves manipulating the index template to suit our needs: new logo, changing the login section to a Google ad words box, creating html editing areas? layout supplied
The articles section -- These pages will then be used as templates for future [url removed, login to view] at the bottom of these pages will be a Jcomments module, allowing users to submit and share their experiences. We require a Kpactcha module to be installed for this page.
The news page will be derived from the News Manager.
The contact page
You will be required to build these pages with the appropriate Joomla user header and example content, which we will populate at a later stage.
For an experienced Joomla designer this job is very straight forward. We have tried to supply as much information about the project as possible to allow you to bid accurately.
We are open to design suggestions and improvements, if you know of a way Joomla can be used to further improve the site please don't hesitate to tell us.
We hope to build a lasting relationship with you and therefore you will be approached after the project's completion to help with further enhancements and new sites.
