I require an Excel Macro writing that will take existing MS Excel data and manipulate it in the following ways;
1/ Some data to be parsed and extraced/deleted
2/ A new worksheet to be created by performing logic on the existing data
3/ Such logic in 2 above shall comprise of identifying the correct data from the source Excel and using this to lookup data based on the new worksheet requirements as defined.
The source Excel data comprises of data across three worksheets with fixed columns for each worksheet but a variable number of rows (typically thousands of rows). All data has a numeric primary key to identify it across the worksheets.
A new worksheet must be created with 34 column headers and a variable number of rows. Of these headers the logic will vary to calcluate the row value but the logic will consist of;
1/ Some columns are calculated by a simple direct look up i.e . the value is just a simple copy from another cell
2/ Some columns must look up text to identify a correct value from the source data and based on the text look up then populate the correct cell value
3/ Some columns require a simple logic test to check another value and adjust the text look up bases on this value.
All the logic is defined and sample source data and resulting format and logic will be supplied to suitable bidders.
