I would like to create a website that lets a person upload a photo of graffiti tags (tag is the mark made by a graffiti vandal) on local property (after an account has been created and authenticated through an email confirmation) that would then show the location on Google maps. When you click on that location on the map, the address and photo of graffiti tag(s) is shown, as well as the name of the vandal's tag (if it can be interpreted), and the number of times and tags that have been removed.
The objective is to track using the maps where specific tags are located to help police identify patterns, and to help citizens clean it up. Also, if a person is arrested doing a specific tag, their information is connected to all of those tags for prosecution.
As the database of specific tags are collected and identified, when a person uploads a similar tag, they have the option to select that similar tag from a list of thumbnails reported in that surrounding zipcode. This will help to create a map that shows all of those same tags on various buildings.
Once a tag has been cleaned, a person can report it to that property address on the maps, and the map info for that location would show all of the tags that have been cleaned at that location.
