I need a one-page InfoPath form to capture simple user data (first & last name, email address, etc.) and place it into a SQL Server 2005 database. I will be embedding this form into a SharePoint page that I create. Specifics, along with a .bak file of the database to be used, are in the project details.
Attached you will find a .bak of the SQL Server 2005 database that will be used for this project. (I'm familiar enough with C# or VB to edit the connection string on my end, so no worries about that.)
This form will be placed on a SharePoint page, and used to capture data from users that visit the site. **All input must be protected against SQL injection.**
The input fields on the form, along with their corresponding columns in the database, are:
First name (FName)
Last name (LName)
Name of employer (Employer)
Position title (Title)
Additionally, the database contains the following fields that will need to be filled in programatically when the form is submitted:
ID ??" Int, Identity column. Self-explanatory. Should auto-create on insert.
CreatedDt ??" Datetime. Timestamp of when the form was submitted.
UserIP ??" IP of user submitting the form. If it is not possible to capture this, please let me know in your initial response.
Finally, after completing the form, the user will be redirected to another page, for which the URL isn't set yet. For now, please have the Submit button redirect to [url removed, login to view]; I will change this on my end when I receive the source code.
If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask. Thank you for your consideration.
