The project is to develop a reader/database application for the iPhone. The app will have a database of short "guides", conversational overviews of a wide range of topics. The guides are being written by other authors, and design is being handled in-house, so the coder's only responsibility will be writing an iPhone UI for users to navigate, purchase, and read titles.
Purchasing of individual titles will be handled as In-App purchases. I had planned to include the full database of guide titles as part of the app download, and use a "purchased" or "unpurchased" signifier to control each user's access to new guides. If there is a better way of allowing users to browse, purchase, and read new titles, I'm open to suggestions.
I've written a short project overview, with a few use cases, and could send it if that would be helpful as we discuss the project.
