I would like to have several drop down menus setup in Excel and the first drop down menu will filter the other drop down menus. I also want to be able to reference the selected values in each drop down menu in a vlookup or match/index formula.
The data table for the drop down menus will be variable.
I've attached a sample data set to use where there will be 4 drop down menus "Equipment", "Capacity", "Power", "Antenna". The user will use a drop down menu to select the equipment and the subsequent drop down lists will be filtered by choice of equipment (information identified in the row of the equipment).
The capacity, power, and antenna selections will have a cost associated with each item and I need that to be summed.
