Hi there - I have a Joomla site that contains a Mediawiki installation. Currently the Mediawiki is within a Joomla wrapper.
The wrapped solution is unhelpful for SEO and I would like to engage a coder to change the Mediawiki monobook template to substantially match the joomla template.
The Joomla template is pretty straightforward to replicate and it should be a fast job for someone with the experience, I just don't have the Mediawiki skills to do it.
I would also like the coder to?
Have a look at the mediawiki element of the site and advise on how to improve SEO & Serps for wiki-based information
The website in question? is a medium-traffic community and information site built using Joomla. I have recently installed a Mediawiki into which I will transfer my own articles for user-editing.
A wiki? [[url removed, login to view]] is wrapped inside a Joomla install which does not display the URLs of the individual wiki pages. Accessing individual wiki pages directly is is only possible outside of the Joomla main site? therefore I would like to have a wiki template that substantially recreates the Joomla template. It is clean and simple.
My site ranks #5 for my chosen keyword and is? in the top 10 for many others but I would like it to be higher in ranking for my specific keyword. I am unsure about SEO in a Mediawiki environment and I would like the coder to advise on what measures I can put in place to improve my SERPS.
Please note that template changes must be implemented in such a way as they can not become over-written when Mediawiki core upgrades.
Thank you for your help
