We have an OSCommerce site that has been designed, installed and loaded with products. We now now need someone to set it up to be able to take coupons, calculate shipping, process credit cards securely (we have purchased a SSL certificate and we have [url removed, login to view] account information), calculate shipping costs to charge the client, and automatically send invoices to both the client and the customer. If there is a way to send email notices with shipping information or refunds through OSCommerce, we would like to do so. If this is not a built-in functionality, please advise us.
We would like to edit the invoice and other email templates with the client's preferred text, but no CSS styling is required. We are hands-on and would like to make these edits ourselves if you can direct us to the proper way to do so.
We have also discovered that, although OSCommerce allows us to enter META tags (keywords, descriptions) in each product, they do not appear to show up anywhere in the source when looking at the front end. We would like you to make that functional.
The client will use USPS Priority Mail for shipping, which ships based on weight and ZIP code. Right now the client plans to charge a flat shipping rate of $7, with no international shipping. We would like to use a product called Endicia. If it is possible to connect OSCommerce and Endicia, we would like you to do so. This link may be helpful: [url removed, login to view]
Ideally, the site will transmit the customer shipping information and the product weight to Endicia, allowing the site administrator to print shipping labels.
