PayPal integration via Linux web pages. Need to create a form to capture customer information (name, address, etc..) and then allow them to purchase tickets to a concert. The customer should receive confirmation email and also view the confirmation on a web page.
The current site has MySQL, php available and is hosted on APlus.net. All data will be stored in a database and the site owner will receive emails when a purchase occurs.
The style of the web pages should match the existing site.
I cannot publish the name of the site except to the winning bid.
I think this is straight forward.
The customer comes to the web site and sees an advertisement for the concert.
They navigate to the payment page.
On the page they fill out their name, address, email, phone, comments, etc...
Please use Captcha to avoid spam bots.
This data will be stored in a MySQL database.
Then they will click on a link for PayPal and pay with their credit card or PayPal account.
After payment, the database will be updated indicating that they have paid.
During the database update a unique ticket number will be randomly generated.
They will view their receipt on the web site, and will also receive a copy of the receipt via email.
The website owner will also receive an email containing the form data, transaction information, and ticket number. They will only receive an email for those who complete the paypal payment.
An admin page should be created that allows the site owner to download a CSV file containing all the contents of the database. So we just need a page with a button on it to initiate the download.
