We need to migrate the following from Netsuite to Quickbooks (or if you have a better alternative, please advise):
- Items (inventory, non-inventory, and assembly).
- Chart of Accounts
- Transactions - Customer Invoices, Vendor Bills, Journal Entries, Checks, Bill Payments, Customer Payments, etc. We do not need POs, SOs, or other non-posting transactions. - Transactions need to be assigned to the correct customer, vendor and items.
In the end, we need to be able to reference all customer and vendor data, customer and item sales reports, the income statement, and the balance sheet each at various dates.
The Quickbooks account will be used for historical reference only. We are maintaining a separate Netsuite account for current transactional data.
After the migration is complete and confirmed to work correctly, we need to selectively remove the historical data from Netsuite. All closed transactions dating 12/31/09 and previous will need to be removed. We will enter corresponding brought forward balances for all GL accounts and inventory. Most open transactions will be retained.
