A sample of the site we are creating is at [url removed, login to view] We are using a MySQL database that you will tap into. Here is the flow: 1) link from an affiliate site passes the affiliate ID to the reservation page. Here is a sample link: [url removed, login to view] 2) A redirect page determines whether the visitor has cookies enabled and captures the affiliate id. If cookies are disabled, provies instructions for the to enable cookes before proceeding. You can try by disabling cookies and closing and reopening your browser. 3) With cookies enabled we capture the referrer URL and track each page that the user visits into the DB. 3) We let the user select a deck which takes them to the next page to select a specific cabin. 4) That cabin is taken out of inventory and placed on temporary hold so no one else can reserve [url removed, login to view] a cabin is taken out of inventory, its color is changed to gray. If the user does not complete the reservation within 15 minutes the cabin is released back to inventory. Its color is changed back to the original color. 4) We capture that cabin number, description and pricing and move to the next page where the user enters their personal information and can see the pricing and agree to the terms. When they submit the information is entered into the DB. 5) We go to the payment page where we carry over the personal information and collect their payment [url removed, login to view] they submit there the cabin status is changed from temp booked to permanent booked. Customer and event data is captured to the database Tracking (referrer URL and which pages are visited) is done on every page Email notices are sent to the customer, affiliate and admin for every registration. These features are all in place and working and use a combination of PHP, Flash and MySQL. The new application will use much of the same features with the following exceptions: 1) I do not want to use Flash. I want to use a technology that will be much easier to use mobile, including iPad and iPhone. The winner of this bid will have the opportunity to create a mobile version after this is successfully [url removed, login to view] will be a seperate project. 2) There will be a resort with cabins instead of a ship. So we will skip one page (there will be no 'decks' page). See [url removed, login to view] for a layout of the new property.
I will provide copies of the current files to anyone who requests them. I will provide a work area and database to the winning bidder.
